Bio
Carolyn is the Ernst & Young Global Life Sciences Market Leader responsible for serving global life sciences companies with assurance, advisory, tax and transaction solutions. In that capacity, Carolyn is responsible for E&Y’s strategy, thought leadership, resourcing, learning and solution development to best serve our clients in the Life Sciences Industry. She has served in various capacities on internal management committees at E&Y and is a frequent speaker at industry events.
Carolyn is currently an Adjunct Professor at Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, teaching Management and Gender. Carolyn also serves in a variety of capacities in the area of advancing women’s leadership. She has co-authored several HBR publications and frequently speaks at events on the topic of women’s leadership and empowerment.
Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Carolyn spent seventeen years in lending, investment banking, consulting and government service where she was involved in a diverse range of capital market activities for both public and private companies in a wide variety of industries. She started her career working for the US State Department in the Soviet Union, stationed in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moscow.
Carolyn is the proud parent of Frank, Nina, Jacob, Nathan and son-in-law, Tom as well as her new grandson, Jamie.
